Sitting down at my dressing table each morning always leads to me grabbing the same make-up items. Its not because they are particularly my favourite pieces from my collection, I purely find it easier to grab the same items.

The first product I go to is the L'Oreal Paris Lumi Magique Primer which is £9.99 to buy so a steal really for a primer which gives your skin a lovely, healthy looking glow. I have been using this for a few weeks now when I feel like my skin needs that extra glow and I have been loving it! The foundation I have been using lately is the Bourjois 123 Perfect Foundation which retails at £10.99. I have been loving this foundation recently, although I don't really suffer from bad pigmentation I found that it really evened out my skin tone. Next I conceal my under eyes using a combination of Collection Lasting Perfection Ultimate Wear Concealer which is around £3.99 and the Maybelline Eraser Eye Concealer Light which retails at £7.99. I place the Collection concealer in a V under my eyes and use the other to fill in the gap. I also using the Collection Lasting Perfection as a concealer for any blemishes I may have. To set all my base make-up I use the Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder retailing at £3.99,i brush this round my face just to set it all in place.

Then its onto my eyes, I prime with the Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion which costs £11.99 to buy, I am just using the tester size. I then use the Urban Decay Naked Palette, retailing at £37.00 which you may be thinking is a lot for an eye shadow pallet but it is one of the best I have used. The colours are very natural and great to use on an everyday basis. To line my eyes I have been loving the Magic Liner in Engraved from Topshop which costs £6.50 and is worth every penny! The liner applies so smoothly and stay on all day. From my brows I have been using the brow zings from Benefit, I use the powder first to shape my brows then apply the wax to keep them in place throughout the day, this retails at £24.50. To define my brow bone I use the high brow also from Benefit which costs £15.50.

The final steps are to define and put a little bit colour into my face. I start with the Bourjois Delice de Poudre Bronzing Powder Medium/Dark which costs £6.99. I use this as a contour colour and blend it into my cheek bones, around the top and bottom of me face. I then add a blush, I have been loving the CORALista from Benefit which is a box powder retailing at £23.50. I love the fresh colour this gives to my cheeks. To highlight I use the Topshop Glow Highlighter in Polish which is £9.00. This is a lovely cream highlighter which sparkles when the light hits it. To finish off the look I have been grabbing my L'Oreal Paris Color Riche Collection PrivĂ©e in the colour Julianne's Nude.

I have been loving this look for a nice natural finish and have been grabbing this items from my make-up collection for a few weeks now. You can also find a video of my Everyday Make-Up look on my youtube channel:

I bought this a few weeks ago now but I've been wanting to write a review on it for a while as i have been unsure of what to think of the product. I was so excited when i was stood in boots and saw this product on the shelf after trying to get my hands on it for weeks, but i finally managed to get my paws on it.  Eyebrows are something i have never been good at getting right so i thought the idea behind Maybellines BROWdrama would really help me to get a perfect shape but also the right amount of colour in my brows as id like. I wanted to give this product a few weeks before writing a post, just to make sure i had the perfect explanation and experience with it before telling you.

Name-
On a normal trip to boots or superdrug i am forever looking out for funky/fun names that jump out to me that ill grab and drop it into my basket. For this product i felt i could relate due to its name, BROWdrama, this is because of the massive drama i have with creating the right look with my brows! This made me want to drop this straight into my basket.

Packaging-
Bright colours, funky design and a bold title is what i would normally be drawn to in a beauty product but yet with this i wasn't. A plain black packaging with a white title is not what i want in the packaging of my beauty products. I wasn't impressed with the overall look of the BROWdrama on the shelf. Although i did buy it but more so for the product itself.

Product-
To start lets talk about the brush, the top of the brush is like a small ball moving down to a stick like brush. At first glance at the brush i thought it was going to make the application of the product easy and make it easy to create a gorgeous arch. Oh was i wrong. I found that the thick end of the brush made it a lot harder to shape my brows and rather than creating a nice shape made them look more like long stick across my eyes rather than a nice arch. Trying to use the smaller part of the brush caused great struggle. This part of the brush shouldn't even be on the applicator as you can't use it without making a brown mark else where on your face.
The colour was perfect to my eyebrows, i got mine in Dark Blond, having dark blondish hair always made it hard to find a perfect colour for my brows however this was literally the perfect colour. However, i couldn't get an even spread of the colour and the colour didn't really show well on my brows.
I also found that once i had applied the product it felt wet and didn't feel like it had dried until around 10/15 minutes after applying.
After around 3/4 hours i would find that i would have dark chunks of the product in my brow, which is obviously not the look i was aiming for.

Overall-
My overall feeling of this product is that there are some really good aspects of this product although there are some major issues that i had with this product which would make me not buy this again. I was very disappointed with this and wish that this could have worked for me but unfortunatly this hasn't.

Hiya lovelies! Todays post is new to me but is one that I love to read on other peoples blogs and as you will be able to see from the title it is a products ive used up, by no mean does this mean ive loved all the products I have just simply used them up. So lets get started.

Heres an overview of the products which are now empty, some I would re purchase others I wouldn't.

The first two are hair products, the one on the left is the Mark Hill Love Big Hair! Big It Up Volume Shampoo 250ml which is on offer at the minute in Boots for £3.66. I noticed a huge difference when using this shampoo on my hair. It gave it so much more volume than it my hair normally has and made it feel soo much more smoother and I felt it looked tidier. I loved this so much I actually bought another one. The product on the left is an Argain oil Hydrating Hair Mask which I bought in the poundshop, rather than using this as a hair mask I used it as conditioner as my hair was in bad condition. This really helped get my hair back to its proper condition and for a pound I would definitely by this again.

Next is the Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish™ Hot Cloth Cleanser, which I used as a cleanser on a night time to remove any dirt and make-up. I liked this cleanser but I wouldn't say it is the best one I have ever used. If I was bought another one I would use it but I wouldn't choose to buy this one. The next product is Coconut Body Butter by The Body Shop, I bought this I was drawn in by the smell of the product, it smells so good I could eat it! It is a good body butter and leaves you skin feeling softer for longer and very moisturised, I would definitely buy this again.

Next is the three make-up products of this post, Maybelline the Rocket Volum' Express Very Black Mascara. I bought this when every was loving the falsies, I usually don't like a plastic brush but LOVE this mascara! I found this mascara made my eye lashes very long, thick and just totally amazing. This is my holy grail mascara and im feeling very scared to not have one in my make-up collection right now. I would 10000% buy this again and again and again. Next is Studio Fix Fluid, my total favourite of all foundations I have ever tried, this is one which I will always want. With amazing coverage and lasting time there is no doubt why I love this so much. I would have a back up of this of all times if I could afford the small fortune it costs! Lastly on this section is Maybelline Fit Me Foundation, I didn't totally fall in love with this as much as I would have loved to have. The coverage was good enough for me but it stuck to dry patches on my face and looked really patchy after a days wear. I wouldn't purchase this foundation again.

The last product in this post has already been re-purchased so is definitely a winner. It is the Jimmy Choo Eau de Parfum this was the fragrance of 2013 for me and I love it so much a re bought it straight away. It has such a gorgeous smell that stays put all day, I received so many compliments when wearing this!

Hiyaa!! I'm finally sticking to my plan and blogging every two days, yippee to me! In tonight's post I thought id chat to you about some personal things that has been happening with me lately and I think it is important to chat about. And that is university.
From being young I have always dreamed of working with children, ive never totally been sure in what part I would like to work but my dreams have ranged from being a midwife to being a primary school teacher to being a child councillor. So my last year off sixth form came and I applied for primary education at my local university's and many around the Uk but knew I didn't want to move away as im too much of home bird. unfortunately I didn't pass the interview so was unsuccessful, however I had enough to time apply to another course I was successfully picked for the Childhood Studies course.
At first I was excited and couldn't wait to start, but not long after starting uni I started to get a little bored but stuck it out and thought it will get better its just the first year after all! Although, a few months passed and I was still unsure about what I wanted to do. And that brings us to now.
More and more thoughts went through my head and i decided to talk to Alex about it and we both discussed my possibilities. I then spoke to my mam and dad and friends and they all said they were  behind me and that I should do what I feel is best.
At the moment I have pretty much decided that I am going to leave uni after this first year is over as it is just not for me, I am going to work full time for  a year and explore all the different possibility's I have.
Basically, what I hoped you would gain from this post is an insight to what other things are out there and if you don't think uni is for you, don't stick to it just because you are worried about what other people think or that you wont get a job after. Look into other things that you are interested in and see if there any other roots you could go down to get there. Im not saying just throw the towel in and forget it but there are definitely other ways of doing things you love.
If you enjoyed this post and what more like this leave a message down below!

Sunday, 6 April 2014

Hiya guys, so for this weekends post i thought i would just let you know about what has been going on in my life lately and what i have been up to.

SOOO, this week has been quite stressful for me as i have had three assignments in at uni and a driving test. Unfortunatly i failed my driving test :( as i didn't notice a 30 sign and carried on doing 35! which i was absolutely gutted about but next time hopefully ill get there! But more about uni, so as i was saying i had three assignments in one which was presentation and two which where actually written assignments but I'm just glad they are out the way now and i have a nice three weeks off. I am planning a uni post for any of you who are at the stage of thinking about uni or are even at uni! stay tuned for that!

More about this weekend, as i may have said in posts before my mam and dad have a caravan which they go to every weekend so i have the house to myself woopie! Normally i see this as a good thing but this weekend i had to look after the dog as my mam and dad set up the caravan, which of course means i haven't been able to do much. Saturday i spent lying watching Gossip Girl all day which if your not watching it or haven't already watched it you need to go start watching it as soon as you finish reading this post! I made myself some nachos with mince and backed it in the oven with salsa and cheese on whilst lying watching it yesterday which was amazing. Then once Alex had finished work we took my dog to his house to have a bit of socialisation with his dog and it also gave me a chance to socialise with some people as i had been stuck in the house since friday night. We took my pooch home and headed straight out to the movies, we wanted to see Noah but unfortunately it was all sold out :( so we saw The Grand Budapest Hotel instead which wasn't great but as we have the cine world passes i wasn't too bothered about seeing it as i didn't directly pay for the viewing of it.

Today i am again sat around in my pjs whilst alex is at work and later on i am going to make a nice sunday dinner for him finishing work and take our dogs out to the park for a run around.

I thought i would add a photo of some outfit planning i have been doing for my summer holiday, i know my holiday isn't for another 2 month yet but you can never start planning too early!

This is one of the outfits that i have planned, it is a ditsy print playsuit from Henry Holland which i actually bought last year but will be wearing it again this year as i love it soooo much. With this i have pairs my new sandals which i got from primark for around £6-8 and this cute woven bag which is from Tescos but bought this quite a few years ago now. I also plan on wearing my sunglasses which are from HnM, a cute blue thumb ring and some beaded bracelets. To add a bit more colour to the outfit i thought i could wear my Nails Inc nail varnish in Chelsea Physic Garden which is just a gorgeous pale blue and Topshops lipstick in Ohh La La.

Let me know if you would like to see more outfit plans,
cya.

Hiya guys, so as you know well youll know if you read my last post, I visited my brother and his girlfriend in London at the weekend.
We arrived late on the Friday night, so spent the rest of the night in the flat talking and giggling till early hours of the morning. Consuming lots of wine!
We woke up early the next day and headed into Shoreditch where we had a yummy breakfast in a cute little café and if im honest with you I cant remember the name!
We then jumped onto the tube and went into Camden Market, id never been here before and when we arrived I absolutely loved it! There was a real mix of shops, from high end to little market stalls which all sold amazing things.

After a walk around the market, where I picked up a cute bag and purse from a small Indian market shop we spotted the food mall. I seriously couldn't decided but eventually went for a Chinese box, filled with noodles and spicy beef. I would recommend anyone who goes into Camden market checks out the amazing food places! After we had finished our food we had another look around Camden market and found a bubble tea bar, ive been wanting to try one of these for ages. I bought a peach flavoured on with green tea and strawberry and mango bubbles. This was the most bizarre drink I have EVEREVER tasted! the straw it came with was huuuge to allow the bubble to come up the straw and they burst in your mouth. It was a refreshing but sickly drink.
We headed back to the flat and sat around with nibbles and drinks for the rest of the afternoon, until we finally realised it was quarter too 10 and we hadn't eaten so we threw some pizzas in the oven and carried on chatting.
On sunday we visited a cute place called Wapping in London we walked around and looked at the gorgeous houses and then pilled in a cute little pub and drank the nicest mocha I have ever tasted. We then got back on the road for our 7 hour drive home.

Hiya guys, a post during the week! and days after my last! what is happening!
Im finally getting the hang of this blogging malarkey and getting myself prepared for my next blog!
So as you can all see from the title today's post is a 'What Im Loving'. Im including the few bits that I have been sooo in love with from the start of 2014 and no doubt will be using them till the bitter end of 2014! That is of course until another beauty comes along and I experiment with something new.
SO here they are: the amazing products that I have been loving.

The first thing I want to tell you about are these amazing Lush soaps, which unfortunately are a chirstmas range that the have so you cant get your hands on them. However, if you haven't tried out any of the lush soaps then you need to get down and buy one! GO on then! Why you still sat here reading this?! No but really don't leave just yet ive got a few more things to show you, but do go check out the Lush soaps.

The next thing I have been loving is this Soap & Glory™ Peaches and Clean™ 3-in-1 Wash-off Deep Purifying Cleanser 200ml. I have been using cleansers as part of my skincare routine for a while now. I have to say this is one of the best I have used, the smell is so refreshing and leaves my face feeling lovely and smooth and takes away all the grime. I will definitely be tying out some of the other Soap and Glory skincare range.

Next on my favourites list is this N-Spa 5 Minute Magic Mask Exfoliate 2, this face mask is super good for those nasty blemishes that appear at just the wrong time and with a waiting time of just 5 minutes this is perfect for those who maybe don't like to sit around waiting for their face mask to finish. It has small beads I to help exfoliate your face and an amazing fresh smell. Ive been using this once a week and have seen massive improvements to my skins.

Next is a body spray from Victoria's Secret's Pink section, it has a lovely floral smell and I find that once I have sprayed this on it lasts all day. Will most definitely be picking up more of these when im next down London for a shopping trip. Unfortunatly these isn't a Uk site so couldn't link this for you lovelies to buy.

Only one hair product at the minute which is this VO5 Shine On Shine Serum 45ml I use this when im straightening my hair, it gives my hair a gorgeous shine but doesn't make it look greasy. You can find this in any Boots or Superdrug and they are normally on a 3 for 2 offer which is something you obviously have to pick up!

Last is my favourite items, Revlon® ColorBurst™. These Revlon colour burst have certainly been making an appearance on my face over the last month and I cant wait to get some more!

Saturday, 15 March 2014

Hiya guys, so today i thought id let you all into a little secret of how i keep my hair.
It has took me a long time to find what is right for my hair but i have finally found products which keep my hair in a good condition. I haven't included my shampoo and conditioner as I  change this quite regularly at the minute i am using a mark hill shampoo and a argon oil hair mask as conditioner from the pound shop.
Just so you all know i have medium/long hair which is relatively thick.

So here are all the products i use once i have washed my hair.

So the first thing i would normally use is a Argan Oil product, I find this keeps my hair fully hydrated and also keeps the oils in my hair that are necessary. This particular one which I am using at the moment is Argan Gold Hair Vitality Oil, I bought this from Asda and it is only £4 which is a reasonable price for this product. To use this I would just rub one pump into the palms of my hands and rub it into my hair evenly, I normally try to stay away from my roots as I find it makes them look a little bit greasy. Which of course NOBODY wants! I then use this VO5 Smoothly Does It Frizz Free Cream 100ml to get rid of the awful frizz I get on the bottom of my hair and the hair which hangs round my face. I would do pretty much the same steps as I took with the Argan Oil rubbing it into my palms and then spread evenly, however this time you can rub this into your roots as it doesn't leave an oily unwanted look. To make sure this is fully absorbed into my hair I take my paddle brush and brush through my hair root to tips.

Once its time to blow dry my hair I like to protect my hair from the heat but also add some texture to it at the same time. To start with I put on the VO5 Volume Boost Gel Spray 200ml. This gives me hair  bit more of a texture and volume whilst blow drying my hair. To do this I take sections of my hair and spray it onto my roots and brush it through before moving onto the next section. To add protection from the heat and keep my hair hydrated whilst blow drying I use the Gum Re-Hob Milk, I couldn't actually find a link for this online but im pretty sure you can get this in places such as Home Bargains or BnM Bargains. I spray this onto sections of my hair before I blow dry and half way through blow drying just to give my hair hydration.

Once my hair is dry it is time to style, whether I am straightening, curling or doing an up do I will always add some of the VO5 Smoothly Does It Tame and Shine Spray 100ml, this gives my hair a shine that lasts until I next wash my hair. To use this I spray it either onto my hair If I am straightening or onto a brush and brush through my hair if I am doing anything else.

Lastly, I promise this is the last thing I use on my hair. I will either use this Gum Dazzler which is a serum for the hair which also creates a shine or the Trevor Sorbie beautifully Straightened which I got in a chritstmas gift pack so unfortunately cant find a link for this. But anyway, it just acts very much the same thing but as this is a pump serum I prefer to use this with straight hair as it is easy to apply and use the other one when I have done anything else as it is a spray bottle.

So that's what I do with my hair my lovelies! Leave comments down below on your favourite hair products!

Hiya, thought I would do a quick chit chat post today as I have had a few stressfull weeks with exams and what not so haven't been posting as much as I would like to have.

I'm really enjoying writing this blog, as I have wanted to write one for a while but couldn't bring myself to do it. I am quite a shy person and can be put off very easily however I feel like writing this blog has really helped me overcome some of this stuff and its early doors!
Sometimes I think about stopping writing this blog because I feel like people don't read my pages but I don't want this to be something I have just gave up on.

If any of you would like me to do any certain types of blogs then just comment down below and I will make sure I do them!

Hope you are all doing well!

Saturday, 22 February 2014

Hiya guys,
so I showed you my morning routine a few weeks ago and have been meaning to do a night time routine to go with it for  while but it has been changing so much with different products I have been buying but I have eventually managed to stick to some products. Just to let you all know i have combination/oily skin just so you can compare with your skin care routine.

I have picked the products that I use on a daily basis and those that I use maybe 2/3 times a week to treat my skin. To start ill show you the things I use on a regular basis.

So to start with I take the L'Oreal Paris Skin Perfection Micellar Solution which can be picked up from most beauty stores such as boots and superdrug, it is normally around the £4 mark but it is often on offers so you will be able to pick it up cheaper! I take this on a cotton pad and firstly remove my eye make-up, I find that this micellar water is perfect for eye make-up. Loreal do have a eye make-up remover in the range but I find it too oily for my skin so just use the normal one. I will then remove my make-up with this making sure there is non left on my face. Of course like all of us I do sometimes have a lazy day and use a make-up wipe but that's ONLY when ive had a bad day. When I do this I usually use the Simple Kind To Skin Facial Cleansing Wipes, just because I find they are gentle on my skin.
My next step it to cleanse my face and recently I have been loving using the Soap & Glory™ Peaches and Clean™ 3-in-1 Wash-off Deep Purifying Cleanser. This is £8 but Soap and Glory normally have a 3 for 2 offer on so you will be able to stock up on other soap and glory favourites! This cleanser smells amazing! Its peachy and fresh at the same time. I will rub this into my face and then rinse of using a face cloth making sure I get any remains of make-up or grime off my face.
The last thing I use on a normal night time face routine is my Liz Earle Skin Repair Moisturiser™ - Normal/Combination, this is my favourite moisturiser as it doesn't leave my face feeling greasy but keeps my skin feeling hydrated. This is a bit more expensive than my other products used but I feel it is well worth it, it is normally around the £20 mark.

Next, these are the products that i will use maybe 2/3 times a week to treat my skin and keep it feeling refreshed.

Firstly I will talk about the Sanctuary Radiance Exfoliator, I always like to have an exfoliator to hand to get rid of any dead skin on my face and to keep my skin feeling healthy. I find the Sanctuary Spa exfoliator particulary good as I don't feel like the beads are too harsh on my face. I would just squeeze a pea size amount into my hand and rub it into my tea-zone and then rinse. This is around the £10 mark but lasts so long so is well worth the money.
I also like to use the N-Spa 5 Minute Magic Mask Exfoliate, this is another exfoliator which I like to use but in a mask form. I like to use both once a week as I feel the mask gets into my pores and get the dirt away but the Sanctuary spa gets rid of the dead skin on my face. I love the smell of this mask and will get some in my hand and it rub it into my face after i have cleansed my face. Put on my favourite music set my phone timer to 5 minutes, lay back and let the products do its magic! This is a cheaper exfoliator around the £5 mark, although you don't get as much product as others you may find.
The third thing in this photo is Sudocrem Antiseptic Healing Cream, which I will ALWAYS have in my room. It is the best thing I have found to get rid of spots and blemishes and it is cheap! Winwin situation here guys! So with this I will put a layer on the blemishes and just go to bed, in the morning you will find the redness to have faded and spot to have reduced in size. Everybodys happy!

The last few things I have to talk about it N-Spa Deep Hydrating Facial Oil Treat, although I have combination/oily skin to begin with I find that every now and again adding a little bit of oil to my face can help keeping my skin looking radiant. This is around the £7 mark but I always find the n-spa products to be on offer. With this I will just squeeze a droplet into the palm of my hands and rub together to get the oil warm and then just pat it into my skin. I would usually do this before putting on my moisturiser but always leave it about 10 mins between to make sure the oil is absorbed into my skin.
The last thing I have to talk about is this Montagne Jeunesse Cucumber Anti Stress Peel Off Masque, which you can usually pick for around a £1. I find these masks easy to apply and they leave my skin feeling soothing and soft. I would apply the mask after I have cleansed my face.

So that's my night time face routine at the minute, however in a few weeks i will probably have another one to write as i am forever changing the products i use.
If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask!

Hiya guys,

So today I thought i would show you all the bits I have bought so far in febuary, i have also included the things that i was lucky to get for valentines and our four years anniversary.  Please forgive me for the shocking photography but I am waiting on my new camera coming so they will improve.

So above is all items i have bought this month or have had bought for me, i actually used my boots points to get the make-up products as i used boots treat street to gain many points and ended up with around 100 points which meant I saved money and got to buy beauty products! WINWIN!
These are the items the I managed to get with my boots points, the first thing I bought was the Nailene French express manicure false nails which I have already ready written a review on so if you would like to have a look at that click here. I then bought the Fuse Gelnamel kit which is the kit for doing gel nails, this includes the LCD light, one of the nail varnishes, a bottle of the solution needed, some cotton strips and a nail file. I haven't used this yet but I am very excited to and will be putting up a blog post as soon as ive had a little experiment with it. You can find this product here.

Now on to the make-up bits which include Bourjois 123 perfect foundation, I have used this a couple of times and so far love this foundation, it claims to correct anti-dark circles (yellow pigments), anti- dull complexions (purple pigments) and anti-redness (green pigments). It doesn't give a huge amount of coverage on blemishes but for a drug store foundation I particularly like it. I also got two of the new Revlon colour burst balms, I got a matte balm in 240 striking, which is a gorgeous matte red and a lacquer balm which is in 120 vivacious. I love both these balms and will definitely by adding more to my make-up collection.  To go wth the lacquer balm I got one of Revlon's Super Lustrous lip glosses in Pink Pop which gives it a lovely glossy finish.
For the eyes I got another two of Maybellines colour tattoo 24 hr, I got them in Immortal Charcoal which is a lovely grey/navy colour and one in Metallic Pomegranate which is a dull red both have a shimmer to them. The last thing I got was the Maybelline Browdrama in Dark Blonde, I have used this yet so I am yet to comment on it but it just has a wand with a thicker end and colours in your brows.

Off my lovely boyfriend I received this Ted Baker purse which I had been looking at for weeks! it has a bow clasp and is a powder blue colour. I will be doing a full review of this purse after I have used it a little bit more. I also received the other lovely gifts that are in the photo at the beginning of this post. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask.
