Hiya guys,

Sorry I haven't posted in a while but I had a busy schedule with uni assignments and what not. So I wanted to come back from my week break with a review of the Maybelline Baby Skin, Instant Pore Eraser.

I bought this about a week and a half ago and wanted to give myself a good few days to try and test this product to see what my true feelings where about it.

Name

I love the name of this product as it goes with the concept of the product making your skin like a babys. This really appeals to me as I think it has slight pun to the product making it a little bit more fun. And we all love a bit of fun!

Packaging

First ill talk about the packaging on this primer, i really like the cute look on the product with the baby blue and bright pink. I think it really sells what it is, going with the 'baby' theme. I also like the nib of the product as the hole the product comes out of is the right size for the amount of product that would be put on the skin. I have found some primers in the past the opening for the product is too big and this means that too much comes out at a time, wasting most of the product.

Product

Now for the real talk! The product itself, which of course is the reason why we buy this and not for the name or the packaging!
When I first used this I thought the texture of the product was a little bit strange as it is like a gel and I have never used a gel primer before. However I got over this and actually quiet liked the fact it was a gel as I think it makes it feel a little bit cooling when applied to the skin. Once rubbed in the primer turns to almost a powder as you set it in, much like the Benefit Porefessional. Which is definitely a positive of this primer.

Lasting

Strange title I know but I didn't know what else to call it. The only thing im not a huge fan of is how long the primer actually make your make up last on your face. The overall look of the primer with the base face products on top is fine it certainly make your pores look less like craters in the face. However, with normal primers they usually make your make up last longer during the day. I didn't find this with this primer, I would get half way through the day and feel the need to top up on parts of my make up that I wouldn't normally when wearing other primers.

Overall

Overall I would buy this product again if it was for more of a no make-up kind of look but for a full face of make-up I think a better primer is needed due to it not lasting as long as some do.

If you have any questions dont hesitate to ask!

Hi guys,

Over January of course I have bought many beauty products, theres no surprise there really is there. I have made many trips too Boots and a few other places so thought I might as well show you the few bits I bought.

So these are the few bits a picked up since the start of January, some I have managed to use and others I haven't had the chance to experiment with yet.

Mac Hello Kitty blush in Tahitian Sand

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in light 2

The No7 lipglosses were actually picked up in one of the sale bins in boots, however there were soo many of the items that they were absolutely fine and reduced down to £2 from £10! So I had to pick the colours up that they had. The texture of these lipglosses isn't too sticky and leave a lovely shine on the lips, they also hold a lovely colour. However the colour only last around half an hour then another coat needs to be applied. Think these were a brilliant find! I also found the 17 Lipstick in Shell in this part of boots and was reduced down to £1, I couldn't look at the actual lipstick as it was sealed but thought that looking at the bottom of the lipstick I would suit the colour. I was so wrong! This is the strangest coloured lipstick I have ever found, it is a very shimmery white colour once applied onto the lips and I really don't like it. Im going to give it a few more times before I give it to any of my friends or family but don't think ill ever get used to the colour of this.

While shopping in the Asos sale I came across this Bourjouis Bronze kit and have been wanting the Chocolate bronzing powder for ages but never got round to buying it. So I decided it was about time I owned it and seen as though this came in a pack with a few other items I thought why not get it! When the item arrived I was really excited to use it, the bronzer smells amazing and is overall a really good bronzer! I will definitely be re-purchasing this item. I also got the blush in Lune D'or which I have actually been using as a highlighter as I find the blush a little bit too shimmery for my checks but absolutely perfect for a highlight as it gives just the right amount of shimmer without giving it too much. The kit also included a Effect 3D gloss in Brun Exotic, I have had a few of these lipglosses in the past but never in this colour. I wear this over one of my darker brown lipsticks and absolutely love the finish it gives! As the lipgoss is a summer collection it smells of coconut, I just want to eat it! I also got a small eye liner which I haven't actually used yet so cant really review this item. But overall love everything I got in the Bourjois bronze kit.

When looking at one of the make-up stalls in town I noticed this Maybelline Gel Liner, I had never used a gel liner before but always wanted to try one so picked this one up. And I LOVE it. It took a while for me to get use to the application of this but using the Real Techniques Fine Liner Brush helped me hugely. I think using a gel liner helps it to stay put all day without flaking in areas. I also think it makes it easier to create a winged eye liner effect.

After reading many blog posts and youtube videos on the Maybelline The Eraser Eye I had to go and buy it! I always used my normal concealer under my eyes and always found that by the end of the day it would crease. I have only used this once or twice so far but love the products. I know some people like to take the sponge of the top of the product but I think it helps to get an even layer of the product on. I know what your thinking, How UNHYGENIC?! but I know that I wont let anyone else use this product so I don't mind too much. The colour is perfect for my skin and I think it leaves a healthy glow under my eyes.

A re-purchase that we all own in our make-up kits and that the Lasting Perfection concealer, this is one of the best drug store concealers I have used that cover what I need covering all day without having to re-conceal. It is a product which I will always keep stocked in my make-up bag and would definitely be devastated if they ever discontinue this.

This is one of my favourite things I bought this month and it is the Mac Hello Kitty limited edition collection. I have wanted one of these for ages and have kept my eyes pealed. I was looking on ebay and came across this and had to buy it, it has never been used and I only payed £7. This is the blush in Tahitian Sand. Everything about this product sends me into overdrive! I just absolutely love it and think I am going to find it very hard to use as I don't want the hello kitty mark to rub off.

This is my absolute favourite product on the month this month and its the Maybelling Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser. Who hasn't looked at this product this month! I have the Benefit Porefessional and was just about to run out so thought I would give this a try as it I wayway cheaper. After a few uses of this I LOVE it! Itsnt not exactly the same as porefessional and you may need to use a little bit more of the product to see the results but as it is a lot cheaper I don't mind. I have combination/oily skin and find this works really well. It has the same texture of the porefessional and I really do think this works just as well. I will need to use this product some more to make a real review on all aspects of the primer but will do that very soon! So watch out!

Thanks, cya x

Hi my lovelies,

Today im going to let all you beauty addicts know about how I tend to my face first thing on a morning. I am not a morning person what so ever, so I do most my face care on a night time when I can be bothered to look after my skin. This is why I don't have many products in this post however the ones I do have I absolutely love and will definitely be purchasing again and again!

Soo this is where i carry out all my skin care things, its in the corner of my room which i absolutely love!

To start i take my Liz Earle cleanse & polish hot cloth cleanser to cleanse my face and take off any dirt that has clung to my face overnight. I have been using this cleanser for years now and wouldn't use any other. It is full of natural ingredients such as Rosemary, Chamomile, Cocoa Butter and Euclayptus oil. It leaves my face feeling super smooth and I absolutely love it!!
As you can see by the picture the texture is soso smooth, I splash my face with warm water then take about a pump and a half of the product and rub it in circular motions around my face. Then i take one of my face clothes, yes i am a sucker for a Disney face cloth, who isn't?! and slowly rub off the cleanser making sure i don't rub too hard on my skin and pat dry my face till dry.
I then use a hand sanitiser before applying anything else to my face so i don't add any dirt to my cleansed face. This is a bath a body work hand sanitiser in pink party which has a very fun, floral smell.

I apply some of the Benefit Moisture prep toning lotion to help tone my face ready for putting on my make-up. This is a sample bottle which i got for Christmas will definitely
be purchasing the big bottle of this as it helps to keep my skin nice and smooth.

The moisturiser im using at the minute is the Simple kind to skin hydrating light moisturiser which is just a lovely light moisturiser which helps to keep my skin from becoming too dry. I love this as sometimes i can get dry skin in the winter months and this keeps my skin nice and hydrated without being too thick for when i am applying my make-up.

Next for me is too put on my make-up which changes from day to day depending on what look i am looking to achieve.

So yeah that's that guys. I go for a simple skin care routine on a morning as i am not someone you want to cross on a morning so need to keep things simple!

Hi Guys,

So for Christmas this year my boyfriend bought me some Elf make-up so i'm just going to do a small review on the bits I got.

Above is a picture of all the bits I got from elf, from left to right; Kabuki brush, eyeliner brush, smudge brush, sparkle liner,  matte lip pencil, blush, eye shadow, quad of eye shadow, blemish powder, cream eye shadow, quad eye shadow.
Please excuse this horrendous photo, it was hard to keep the brushes still when trying to get a photo. The elf kabuki brush was my favourite product I got in the elf haul, it is so soft and puts on my powder lovely. The eyeliner brush I find quite harsh on my eye lid and tends to smudge the eye liner im using. The smudge brush is good but is a little too small for what I was after but all in all good brushes from elf, I would definitely buy more to experiment with in the future.

The elf shimmer eye pencils

are a lovely texture and don't tend to smudge, I love the colour range in these and the sparkle within the pencil isn't too much. Would definitely purchase more of these!

On the left is the eye shadow colour Amethyst, it is a gorgeous purple tone which is easy to blend and can be built up or worn as a background colour to a brighter colour. On the left is the elf blush in Mellow Mauve its a lovely deep purple colour but looks very subtle on the cheeks. At only £3.75 I would defiantly look to buy more of these.

This was the product I was most disappointed in, it is one of the palettes where you buy the pallet empty then buy the eye shadow pans separately.  When this arrived I was very excited to use it but when I was putting them into the holder the darkest colour crumbled and the eye shadow crumbs went all over the other eye shadows giving them a dark look.  I wouldn't buy these again as the eye shadow pans themselves are very soft and fall of the eye very easy.

I was a little disappointed with these cream eye shadows, they go onto the eye lovely but after a few hours the cream eye shadows crease, this is after putting eye primer on. I love the colour of the shadows, I just wish the texture was a little better.
Finally, I got these two quads the one of the left is called Party Purple which I a lovely eye shadow. The packaging also helps those who may not know exactly where to put all the shades of the shadow as it states ' base', 'lid', 'crease' and 'line'. The other is called Happy Hour, I would definitely re-purchase these products as they stay on all day and can be brightened up or left subtle.

So that's the review guys, I hope to do many more of these as I believe it helps people know what to buy and what to experiment with.
leave any comments on question or your views on these products.

Hi guys,
So today I thought id do a little post about how I like to spend my sunday.

Yesterday Alex and I decided to walk the dog to his grandmas for lunch, a walk that should have took us around an hour took us three! Little dolly shoes and a small coat was not the outfit I should have been wearing for a three hour walk. But never the less we finally arrived and had a gorgeous Sunday dinner waiting for us. Afterwards we decided to go to the cinema to see 'The Railway Man' which was a very eye opening film about a man in the war.

On a Sunday I like to take time out for myself and have a pamper. I don't get the time during the week to do this as I have other commitments, so I like to give myself time on a Sunday to do everything ive missed during the week.

Urban Outfitters candle- £6

To start with I lit my favourite candle at the minute which is Urban OutfittersElderflower & Champagne candle which is priced around £6. This helps me to relax and the smell this candle gives is soo amazing!

Left to right: Loreal Skin Perfection mincellar water, Sanctuary Radiance exfoliator, No7 Heavenly Hydration Mask and La Roche-Posay Effclar Duo
I then take my Loreal Skin Perfection Mincellar water to remove all my make-up, I then used my Sanctuary Radiance exfoliator to remove any dead skin cells that are on my face and also to remove any impurities on my face. This is may favourite facial scrub as the
beads in the exfoliator arnt too harsh on my face so don't cause redness as some have in the past. I then apply my No 7 Heavenly Hydration mask, putting on a thick layer of this

leaves my skin feeling so soft. I leave this on for ten minutes with my favourite music on in the background. After removing this I then put on my Effclar Duo which is a spot treatment, I only tend to put this on once a week as I think that the treatment wont work as well if applied everyday.

After i have finished with my face I like to give my hands a pamper, firstly I remove any nail polich that I may have on and wash my hands with my Cath Kidston hand scrub.  Next I take my French Connection cuticle cream and massage it into my cuticles, I tend to do

this a few times a week just to help my nails to grow. After I take my Nails Inc nail oil and rub it all over my nail, this helps to strengthen my nails as they tend to become very weak. I will then file my nails to make sure they are all similar and use the soft file on the top of my nails to remove any ridges. I then apply my Nails Inc base coat and put on the chosen colour.

Leave comment on how you like to spend your Sunday.
