Hi Guys,

So for Christmas this year my boyfriend bought me some Elf make-up so i'm just going to do a small review on the bits I got.

Above is a picture of all the bits I got from elf, from left to right; Kabuki brush, eyeliner brush, smudge brush, sparkle liner,  matte lip pencil, blush, eye shadow, quad of eye shadow, blemish powder, cream eye shadow, quad eye shadow.
Please excuse this horrendous photo, it was hard to keep the brushes still when trying to get a photo. The elf kabuki brush was my favourite product I got in the elf haul, it is so soft and puts on my powder lovely. The eyeliner brush I find quite harsh on my eye lid and tends to smudge the eye liner im using. The smudge brush is good but is a little too small for what I was after but all in all good brushes from elf, I would definitely buy more to experiment with in the future.

The elf shimmer eye pencils

are a lovely texture and don't tend to smudge, I love the colour range in these and the sparkle within the pencil isn't too much. Would definitely purchase more of these!

On the left is the eye shadow colour Amethyst, it is a gorgeous purple tone which is easy to blend and can be built up or worn as a background colour to a brighter colour. On the left is the elf blush in Mellow Mauve its a lovely deep purple colour but looks very subtle on the cheeks. At only £3.75 I would defiantly look to buy more of these.

This was the product I was most disappointed in, it is one of the palettes where you buy the pallet empty then buy the eye shadow pans separately.  When this arrived I was very excited to use it but when I was putting them into the holder the darkest colour crumbled and the eye shadow crumbs went all over the other eye shadows giving them a dark look.  I wouldn't buy these again as the eye shadow pans themselves are very soft and fall of the eye very easy.

I was a little disappointed with these cream eye shadows, they go onto the eye lovely but after a few hours the cream eye shadows crease, this is after putting eye primer on. I love the colour of the shadows, I just wish the texture was a little better.
Finally, I got these two quads the one of the left is called Party Purple which I a lovely eye shadow. The packaging also helps those who may not know exactly where to put all the shades of the shadow as it states ' base', 'lid', 'crease' and 'line'. The other is called Happy Hour, I would definitely re-purchase these products as they stay on all day and can be brightened up or left subtle.

So that's the review guys, I hope to do many more of these as I believe it helps people know what to buy and what to experiment with.
leave any comments on question or your views on these products.
